About Singa

Singa was hit by a car when found he was paralysed in the back legs. He was very scared and aggressive at the time of arrival. Xrays revealed no permanent damage to the structural side. It took time, but eventually he learned to trust people again, and also to walk – well – to walk in the Singa way.

He is a lovely, vocal, curious resident at the BARC Sanctuary having been with us since 2013. Singa strut around the place like he is the king, he get’s a bit jealous with some of the other dogs, particularly if they don’t respect him as king. But he loves pats, cuddles and enjoys putting everyone in their place!

Walking, Singa’s way…
